La quarta edizione del Concorso Internazionale di Fotografia Città di Latina inaugura la trilogia “Dialoghi. Trilogia del possibile”. La prima tappa di questa trilogia è “Opposti”.
Opposti non come semplici contrapposizioni, ma come forze che si osservano, si fronteggiano, si attraggono. Luce e ombra, silenzio e rumore, intimità e distanza, identità e alterità, natura e artificio.
Gli opposti definiscono il nostro modo di stare nel mondo. Spesso entrano in conflitto, ma altrettanto spesso convivono, si influenzano, si trasformano a vicenda, sono un prezioso stimolo alla crescita, motore del cambiamento.
Attraverso “Opposti”, il Concorso invita i fotografi a esplorare le tensioni, le soglie e i punti di contatto tra polarità diverse, lasciando che sia l’immagine a generare dialogo.
The fourth edition of the City of Latina International Photography Competition inaugurates the trilogy “Dialogues. Trilogy of the Possible.” The first chapter of this trilogy is “Opposites.”
Opposites are not understood as simple contrasts, but as forces that observe one another, confront each other, and attract each other: light and shadow, silence and noise, intimacy and distance, identity and otherness, nature and artifice.
Opposites shape the way we exist in the world. They often come into conflict, yet just as often they coexist, influence one another, and transform each other, becoming a valuable stimulus for growth and a driving force for change.
Through “Opposites,” the Competition invites photographers to explore tensions, thresholds, and points of contact between different polarities, allowing the image itself to generate dialogue.
